4/25/2020 – puppies from this litter have been spoken for.
Late in the afternoon on Monday, April 14, Siri began her next adventure in motherhood. She is an excellent momma dog and we are so lucky! Patient and gentle. Siri had 9 puppies: 5 boys and 4 girls. I will get pictures soon!

The puppies are growing! For the first couple weeks (at least) we make sure someone is with Siri and her babies 24/7. We just want to make sure they remain safe and are healthy. Being three days old it is appropriate to begin some Early Neurological Stimulation. We want to make sure we have puppies that are strong and confident!
Wow, have these babies grown! Not only has Siri been an exceptional momma but these pups are maturing and quickly. Eyes aren’t open yet but thinking they are starting to hear things rather than just smell for things. We are seeing more and more of them trying to get onto all fours. Enjoy some photos from today!
The eyes are open and so are their ears! This is such a fun stage to watch them really trying to walk and explore their environment. Lots of cuddles happening now to help with creating a calm, confident dog.
The puppies are now 3 weeks old. They have been started on eating solids since momma’s milk just isn’t enough. The puppy food is soaked for several hours to make it easy for them to eat. We feed one at a time – in their order of birth – so we make sure they are getting enough. We do everything based on the order of birth to make sure we don’t miss anyone. This also gives us a chance to make sure everyone is growing and thriving. The litter personalities are coming out! We recorded a lunchtime feeding session to share. PLEASE ignore the mess. I am the messy one (Nancy, not so much). Maybe the puppies are messy, too. Enjoy!
How time flies! The puppies are growing so quickly and what little characters they are! The whelping box has been taken down so they have more room to run around. Pretty soon they start going outside with the dog door to practice housebreaking. The weather is getting nicer so looking forward to more outside time with them! I love to watch them explore the great outdoors! All of these puppies have families looking forward to bringing them home.
